This is a combined posting for an Associate Biomedical Technician, Biomedical Technician, and Senior Biomedical Technician. The requirements of each role are listed below under each associated title. An entry-mid level Clinical Engineering Technician position.  Operates specialized test equipment, reads schematics, and technical manuals.  Will assemble and disassemble moderately complex electronic and Electro-mechanical devices.  

Performs highly skilled work of considerable difficulty involving various medical equipment and systems. Considered to be an expert in the operation of specialized test equipment, schematic reading, and technical manuals. Will assemble and disassemble moderately complex electronic and Electro-mechanical devices.  Has the ability to choose the most cost and time effective equipment repair method, either component or circuit board level repair. 

Performs highly skilled work of considerable difficulty involving various medical equipment and systems. Considered being an expert in the operation of specialized test equipment, schematic reading, and technical manuals. Will assemble, disassemble and fabricate, as needed moderately complex electronic and Electro-mechanical devices.  

Associate Biomedical Technician

Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate's Degree - Electronic Technology from an accredited program or Military training may be considered as an alternative.
  • Must be eligible for AAMI/BMET certification upon hire. 

Associate Biomedical Tech:

Western WA: 

Min: $29.04 - Max: $45.30

Biomedical Technician

Required Qualifications: 

  • Associate's Degree - Electronic Technology or Military training may be considered as an alternative.
  • Coursework/Training - Must have completed several specialized training courses on servicing certain medical devices or systems.    
  • AAMI/BMET certification upon hire. 
  • 2 years - Experience repairing and servicing a variety of medical electronic devices.

Biomedical Tech:

Western WA: 

Min:$34.38 - Max: $54.42

Senior Biomedical Technician

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree - Electronic Technology from an accredited program or, 
  • Coursework/Training - Military training may be considered as an alternative.    
  • Coursework/Training - Must have completed several specialized training courses on servicing certain medical devices or systems.    
  • Driving may be necessary as part of this role and caregivers will be expected to comply with all state laws upon hire. (You may be asked to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance. See policy for additional information)
  • 10 or more years - Experience repairing, servicing and fabricating variety of medical electronic devices. A fabrication includes the ability to plan, design and implement medical electronic devices as well as enhancements or modifications to existing medical equipment.
  • Experience working from construction blueprints and shop drawings

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Biomedical Technician certification upon hire.

Min: $38.67 - Max: $61.22
