Child Care Teacher

Join our team as a Child Care Teacher! We are hiring 6 full-time teachers to care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years using the Reggio Emilia educational approach. You’ll plan and implement lesson plans, support children’s development, and provide a safe and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and implement lesson plans for assigned classrooms
• Document children’s progress and report to parents
• Supervise teacher aides and volunteers
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
• Ensure compliance with licensing/accreditation and infection control standards
• Collaborate with teaching team and participate in staff meetings and continuing education

Requirements:

• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or related field OR equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience with children ages 6 weeks – 6 years
• Completion of 40+ hours of early childhood coursework
• High school diploma or equivalent

Preferred:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
• Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate
• Familiarity with Reggio Emilia approach
