Join our team as a Child Care Teacher! We are hiring 6 full-time teachers to care for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years using the Reggio Emilia educational approach. You’ll plan and implement lesson plans, support children’s development, and provide a safe and engaging learning environment.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and implement lesson plans for assigned classrooms
- Document children’s progress and report to parents
- Supervise teacher aides and volunteers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom
- Ensure compliance with licensing/accreditation and infection control standards
- Collaborate with teaching team and participate in staff meetings and continuing education
Requirements:
- Associate degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Psychology, or related field OR equivalent experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience with children ages 6 weeks – 6 years
- Completion of 40+ hours of early childhood coursework
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood or Elementary Education
- Child Development Associate (CDA) Certificate
- Familiarity with Reggio Emilia approach
