Psychologist is responsible for providing psychology services consistent with accepted practices, training, and accreditation standards
The Licensed Psychologist is responsible and accountable for the delivery of hospital-based psychological services. Β Specific responsibilities include psychological assessment, crisis intervention, neuropsychological assessments, individual therapy, group therapy, family therapy, attendance at team/family conferences, collaboration with interdisciplinary team members and physicians, and documentation. Β Other responsibilities may include participation in performance improvement or other hospital committees, adherence to hospital and department goals/objectives, policies and procedures, and professional standards of practice and ethics.
Education:
Required: Bachelor's degree in Psychology; Graduate degree.
Experience:
Required: Β Internship and/or clinical experience in Rehabilitation Psychology/Behavioral Medicine/Health Psychology and Neuropsychology
Certifications:
Required: Licensed psychologist. Additional certification(s) per governing board and in accordance with the facility Medical Staff Bylaws.
