Kheir Clinic was established in 1986 to serve as a bridge between low-income, recently-immigrated, non-English speaking Korean community and local health and social service providers. Today, Kheir is a broad-based agency providing comprehensive health care for a diverse population through its 7 clinics (Federally Qualified Health Center sites), Adult Day Health Care Center and Patient Resources Department.

ASSIGNMENT SUMMARY
The Clinic Project Manager (CPM) is responsible for the planning, implementation, evaluation, and management of clinic projects and initiatives aimed at improving health outcomes and operational efficiency. Reporting to the Director of Patient Services, the CPM ensures alignment between clinic operations and patient service goals, fostering collaboration across departments and external partners to advance strategic objectives and patient-centered care. The CPM is also responsible for overseeing project-related grant activities, ensuring compliance with funding requirements and adherence to critical deadlines. The CPM will provide updates to key stakeholders in the organization and maintain accurate project monitoring data to ensure desired outcomes are achieved. The CPM position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the clinic's operations and ensure compliance with regulations to provide high-quality care to patients.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and manage clinic projects from inception for key clinic and agency initiatives, including expansions, business-line improvements, clinic program enhancements and facility build outs.
- Develop, implement, and monitor performance-based and results-oriented strategies to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.
- Coordinate cross-functional project teams, including clinic, administrative, and operational staff to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Ensure projects align with strategic planning priorities and comply with all regulatory, policy, and accreditation requirements.
- Oversee and monitor assigned grant-funded clinic initiatives and deadlines, ensuring timely submission of reports, deliverables, and renewals.
- Create and maintain documentation, such as project plans (i.e. Gant Charts), status reports, policies, procedures, and evaluation metrics.
- Serve as a liaison as required between the clinic and auditors, community partners, funders, and regulatory agencies for grant or clinic deliverables
- Lead efforts as assigned in performance management, in operations, quality and areas of risk in the clinic.
- Provide training and education to clinic staff on compliance regulations, process improvement methodologies, safety protocols, and best practices.
- Provide regular updates and strategic recommendations to clinic organization leadership.
- Represent Kheir in public meetings, community forums, and media engagements as needed, reflecting the organization’s mission, services, and policy positions with professionalism and cultural competence.
- Required to stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes related to Medicaid, Medicare, and public charge policies that impact clinic operations and the populations we serve.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Health Administration, Public Health, Nursing or related field or 3–5 years of project management experience (Clinic or community health setting preferred).
- Demonstrated experience managing grant-funded programs and meeting strict reporting deadlines.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare laws and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA & OSHA.
- Excellent computer skills, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel) & data tracking.
- Valid California driver’s license and insurable driving record required.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Familiarity with community-based health care, Medicaid/Medicare, FQHCs, or public health programs is highly desirable.
- Certified in HEALTHCARE Compliance (CHC) or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) preferred.
- Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Korean preferred, but not required.
