Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Pediatrics / Behavioral Health (Travel/Contract)
- Location: Largo, MD
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks with possible extension
- Shift: Rotating Days (7:00 am to 7:30 pm) /Nights (7:00 pm to 7:30 am) (12-hour shifts)
Position Overview
As a CNA, you will provide direct patient care and support to patients across pediatric unit. You will work closely with nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety, comfort, and well-being.
Schedule
- Full-time: 36 hours/week
- Shifts:
- Rotating Days/Nights (12-hour shifts)
- Every other weekend required
- Holidays as scheduled
Key Responsibilities
- Provide care to neonates, infants, and pediatric patients
- Assist with feeding (oral, NG tube, G-tube)
- Support patients with respiratory needs and oxygen monitoring
- Assist in rehabilitation and developmental care
- Work with patients requiring tracheostomy care and specialized pediatric support
Requirements
- Active CNA license
- BLS certification
(AHA required)
- Minimum 1–2 years of CNA experience
- Pediatric experience required
for pediatric roles
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to float between units as needed
