Are you a nature-loving pharmacist looking for an outstanding opportunity at the start of your career, or an experienced pharmacist looking for a new community to call home as you approach your retirement and work towards a proper work/life balance?
Imagine working at the top of your license, supported by a team of 20 people, surrounded by some of BC’s best biking trails and paddle board beaches, where 20 minutes counts as a long commute.
If
you’d like to make a difference in your new community, without
having to work more than 45 hours a week, we’d love to meet with
you and discuss how life on the Sunshine Coast will open you up to a
more rewarding and balanced career.
Why
Join Howe Sound Pharmacy?
In this role, you will work
at the top of your license—offering clinical services, prescribing
and adapting medications, supporting medication management, and
coordinating our medication synchronization program. You will also
provide emergency refills and collaborate with healthcare teams to
support long-term care, mental health facilities (tertiary and
community-based), and palliative care.
For 47 years, our
locally owned pharmacy in Gibsons, BC, has been a cornerstone of the
community. Our professional team of 20+ includes Clinical
Pharmacists, Registered Pharmacy Technicians, and certified Pharmacy
Assistants, all bringing diverse expertise in automation, home
health, and specialized care.
We are more than a
pharmacy—we are innovators in clinical research, technology
integration, and advanced medication management training. As a
long-time partner in university, government, and industry-based
research, we continuously test and refine new pharmacy
initiatives.
