DescriptionUnder general supervision, responsible for the coordination of activities involved in the provisioning, administration, production, presentation and marketing of continuing education programs, workshops, and/or conference services.
This role may require weekend hours as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assists in the selection, design and scheduling of workshops to be presented.
- Coordinates registration process, including fee collection and payment of honorarium and conference expenses.
- Seeks out new program opportunities, creates/modifies courses/programs and activities to meet the ever changing needs of the institution.
- Secures appropriate conference setting and arranges for auxiliary services, including lodging, meals, and transportation.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Familiarity with planning and coordinating short-courses, seminars, workshops and conferences.
- Familiarity with planning continuing education programs.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong multitasking and organizational skills.
- Budgeting experience. Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's Degree degree and/or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Will accept experience in lieu of degree.
Preferred:
Dental experience
