Job Summary:
Responsible primarily for performing preventive and dental prophylaxis services and for providing patient educational services (adult and child) regarding prevention of dental diseases. Also serves in a leadership capacity for dental office.
Core Competencies:
• High level of skill in cleaning and caring for dentition and periodontium
• Working knowledge of most current methods and practices in prevention of dental disease and prophylaxis
• Proficient in non surgical periodontal therapy & maintenance
• Strong ability to be Gongenial and respectful with patients
• Excellent communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle patient complaints with tact and diplomacy
• High degree of organization and critical thinking skills
• Strong sense of self-initiative and adaptability
Job Requirements:
Bachelors or Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited ADA program with one year work experience in the field.
