Position Summary:
The Family Practice Physician will provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages within our established outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality, patient-focused care and contributing to the continued success of our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients of all ages, including preventative care, acute care, and chronic disease management.

Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history reviews, physical examinations, and ordering/interpreting diagnostic tests.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, emphasizing patient education and preventive medicine.

Manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and cardiovascular disease.

Perform minor office procedures as needed.

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurse practitioners and physician assistants, to ensure optimal patient care.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records using the fully integrated ATHENA Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.

Participate in a shared call system, supported by nurse practitioners and physician assistants.

Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and adhere to best practices.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.

Completion of an accredited Family Medicine residency program.

Board certification in Family Medicine.

Active and unrestricted Florida medical license is required.

DEA license and other required certifications.

Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems, specifically ATHENA EMR.

No history of malpractice issues.
