Anesthesiologist Opportunity - North of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

A private practice anesthesia group located conveniently north of Pittsburgh is seeking an experienced Anesthesiologist to join their team. This position offers a diverse and rewarding caseload, including orthopedics, general surgery, urology, thoracic, vascular, basic neuro, OB, and limited pediatric cases. Call duties occur every 4th night, providing ample opportunities for work-life balance. CRNAs are supervised in the operating room.

Salary and Benefits:

• Competitive regional salary package ranging from $475,000 to $500,000 annually

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgical teams to develop individualized anesthesia plans
• Participate in an on-call rotation from home, responding to urgent and emergency cases as needed
• Provide post-anesthesia care and follow-up to ensure patient recovery

Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
• Board certification or eligibility in Anesthesiology
• Valid state medical license and DEA registration
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment

The majority of the caseload is outpatient, contributing to a dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere. Post-call days off and limited call-backs to the hospital ensure ample personal and family time.
