A respected community health clinic in Metro Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its internal medicine team on a locum tenens basis. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, low patient volume, and the opportunity to provide high-quality chronic disease management in a supportive, team-based setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients in an outpatient clinic.

Manage and treat chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease.

Perform patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.

Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and MAs to deliver patient-centered care.

Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.
Workday & Patient Load:

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible)

Patient Volume: 9–12 per day (low caseload)

Support Team: MD, APP, MA on-site
Requirements:

Active Georgia NP license with prescriptive authority.

National board certification (AGNP, AGPCNP, ANP, or FNP).

Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.

Compensation & Schedule:

Pay: $50–$100/hour

Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
