Internal Medicine NP – New Grads Welcome | $50 $100/hr – Locums | Outpatient

A respected community health clinic in Metro Atlanta is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its internal medicine team on a locum tenens basis. This role offers a consistent weekday schedule, low patient volume, and the opportunity to provide high-quality chronic disease management in a supportive, team-based setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive primary care for adult patients in an outpatient clinic.
• Manage and treat chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, and kidney disease.
• Perform patient evaluations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, and MAs to deliver patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR.

Workday & Patient Load:

• Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (flexible)
• Patient Volume: 9–12 per day (low caseload)
• Support Team: MD, APP, MA on-site

Requirements:

• Active Georgia NP license with prescriptive authority.
• National board certification (AGNP, AGPCNP, ANP, or FNP).
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
• New graduates welcome – mentorship and team support provided.

Compensation & Schedule:

• Pay: $50–$100/hour
• Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday
• Setting: Outpatient, community health
