Our client, a leading provider of institutional healthcare services, is currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist with a passion for delivering high-quality mental health care in a correctional setting.

This role plays a key part in the mental health treatment and evaluation of incarcerated individuals. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, strong communication skills, and a commitment to evidence-based care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations through record review and clinical interviews.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary teamincluding psychiatrists, nurses, social workers, and medical staffto ensure coordinated and effective treatment planning.
  • Develop, implement, and adjust individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention to inmates, including those in segregation or restrictive housing.
  • Perform routine mental health rounds to monitor inmate well-being and identify emergent needs.
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions and utilize counseling techniques appropriate for individuals with complex psychological needs.
  • Participate in case consultations and behavioral management planning with clinical and security staff.

Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current, unrestricted license to practice psychology in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience, including at least one year in a correctional, forensic, or comparable behavioral health setting.
