Position Overview

AllShifts is currently looking for a qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to work a 6 month contract at a State Supported Living Center in Denton, TX. The LVN performs advanced vocational nursing duties in a residential care setting. The LVN provides direct care, treatment, and support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) who may also present with complex medical, mental health, and/or behavioral health needs. This role is essential to ensuring the health, safety, and overall well-being of residents in accordance with state and federal regulations.  The position is 40hrs per week with each shift being 8hrs. Note: Shifts are alternating to meet staffing needs

Pay Rate: $39 per hour
Shift: 40hrs per week (Day, Evening, and Night)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents, including medication administration, treatments, and monitoring of patient conditions
• Educate individuals on medications and treatments as appropriate
• Accurately complete clinical documentation and electronic health record entries (training provided)
• Perform computer-based data entry and maintain required records
• Comply with all facility Standard Operating Procedures and regulatory requirements, including

Minimum Requirements

• Current and valid Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license
• Minimum of 2 years of LVN experience
• BLS CPR Card
