Seeking a dynamic Limited License Dentist with the experience and flexibility to perform various tasks including Dental Lab, Hygiene, and eventually full dentistry as supervision capacity allows. The Limited Licensed Dentist is responsible for providing general dentistry and general supervision of dental assistants and Hygienists.

Essential Duties and Major Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct service to patients under the license of the Dental Director.
  • Provides direct service to patients within the scope of limited license and approved privileges.
  • Ensure that DPH, OSHA, HIPAA, and American Dental Association regulations are strictly followed.
  • Comply with departmental protocols
  • Meet productivity standards
  • Provide general dentistry and general supervision of dental assistants and Hygienists.
  • Attend required meetings
  • Commitment to providing dental care to families in a medically underserved community.
  • Willingness to be flexible in the development of new methods of dental services delivery.
  • Ability to deal with sensitive information in a highly confidential manner.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written, with patients, families, visitors, co-workers, health care professionals, funders, and other regulatory agencies.
  • Works as part of the team as required.
  • Awareness of resources available within the health center to accommodate the needs of patients.
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the health center mission
  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelors Degree in Dental Surgery.
  • Meet the State of Massachusetts requirement for Limited License Dentists
  • Certified in CPR
  • Valid Massachusetts Limited License in Dentistry
  • Minimum of three (3) years professional experience preferred.
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
