LPN/LVN

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including vital signs, intake assessments, and medical history documentation.
• Assist providers during GYN exams, procedures, and treatments (e.g., Pap smears, IUD insertions/removals, ultrasounds).
• Administer medications and injections as ordered.
• Perform specimen collection, point-of-care testing, and proper documentation in the EMR.
• Educate patients on reproductive health, contraception, preventive screenings, and follow-up care.
• Support workflow by preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, and ensuring a clean and safe environment.
• Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and patient follow-up communications as needed.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all clinic, HIPAA, and regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and providers to ensure smooth clinic operations.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPN/LVN license in the state of practice.
• Prior experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, family practice, or outpatient care preferred.
• Strong communication, patient-service, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented clinical environment.
• EMR experience preferred; familiarity with women’s health workflows a plus.
