This is an active-duty role for an Ophthalmologist to become a Medical Corps Officer in the Navy.

Location: Full-Time in person position. Not a remote or telemedicine position. Nationwide.



Specialty: Ophthalmology

Annual Compensation: $220,000 to $250,000



Responsibilities: As a Navy Ophthalmologist, you provide expert medical and surgical care for a wide range of eye conditions, from vision correction to trauma management. You’ll lead ophthalmic teams, mentor medical personnel, and contribute to research that enhances eye care practices, ensuring the vision health and operational readiness of service members.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or DO from an accredited school
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Between the ages of 21 and 64
