This is an active-duty role for an Orofacial Pain Specialist to become a Dental Corps Officer in the Navy.

Location: Full-Time in person position. Not a remote or telemedicine position. Nationwide.



Specialty: Orofacial Pain

Annual Compensation: $185,000 to $225,000



Responsibilities: As a Navy Orofacial Pain Specialist, you diagnose and manage complex pain conditions involving the head, face, jaw, and neck, including temporomandibular disorders, neuropathic pain, and headache-related disorders. You develop individualized treatment plans, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and support the health and readiness of service members. You also mentor dental staff and may contribute to research and education in the field of orofacial pain.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DMD or DDS from an accredited school
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Between the ages of 21 and 64
