You will join a well-resourced system with two strategically positioned campuses — a Primary Stroke Center and a Comprehensive Stroke Center — supported by a 12-bed Neuro ICU, two EMUs, and a dedicated Biplane Suite. This is a program-building role designed for a physician who is ready to make a lasting clinical impact and establish themselves as a leader in an expanding market. Position Highlights

  • Specialty: Neurosurgery with Endovascular focus; candidates trained in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology, or endovascular neurology alone, will be considered
  • Procedure volume: 1–2 procedures per day (1 scheduled, 1 emergent); approximately 100 aneurysm cases per year
  • Call schedule: Endovascular neurology call 10–15 days per month; general neurosurgery call approximately 1:4
  • Procedures include: Endovascular intervention, minimally invasive spine, neurodiagnostics, nerve and muscle biopsies, and neurostimulation
  • Facility capabilities: Mechanical thrombectomy, elective aneurysm center designation, designated Neurosciences Center across two campuses
  • Practice setting: Hospital-employed, multi-campus health system with strong infrastructure and subspecialty support
  • Opportunity: Ground-floor program-building role in the fastest-growing area of El Paso

Candidate Requirements

  • MD or DO degree
  • Board eligible or board certified
  • Training in both neurosurgery and endovascular neurology
  • Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
