Orthopedic Surgeon – General with Total Joints Focus

Healthcare United, in partnership with a newly built state-of-the-art facility in Sterling, IL, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeon with a strong interest in General Orthopedics and Total Joint Replacement. Job Description

  • General Orthopedics with a focus on Total Joint Replacements
  • Experience with Anterior Approach Hip Replacement preferred
  • Mako Robotics available on-site
  • High surgical volume potential – 400+ cases/year
  • Opportunity to integrate sub-specialty skills (20–30% max of total case mix)
  • 1:3 call schedule shared among current team
  • Work in a busy, established practice with:
    • 2 MDs and 2 PAs
    • Excellent clinical support
    • New, 85-bed independent hospital with 14 satellite locations

 

 



Requirements


  • Board Certified / Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training in Total Joints or general orthopedics with joint experience
  • Skilled in or willing to learn anterior hip approach
  • Comfortable in a high-volume surgical setting
  • Eligible for Illinois medical license
