Affiliated Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics is a well-established and reputable Pediatric Dental & Orthodontic practice in Scottsdale that has been serving The Valley for nearly 40 years. As a concierge practice, we are dedicated to delivering personalized experiences for the youngest of pediatric dental patients to adults ready to start their orthodontic journey! Our team is committed to creating beautiful smiles and providing top-notch service.  


Position Overview: As the “Patient Relations” Coordinator at “APDO”, you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for our patients. You will be the first point of contact for our patients and their families, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere while efficiently managing administrative tasks. Your professionalism, exceptional customer service skills, and attention to detail will be vital in upholding our reputation for high-end orthodontic and dental care.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Patient Engagement: 
    • Greet patients and visitors with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a welcoming first impression. 
    • Assist patients with check-in, gather necessary paperwork, and verify insurance information accurately. 
    • Maintain a calm and friendly presence, helping patients feel valued and comfortable throughout their visit. 
  • Administrative Support: 
    • Perform essential administrative tasks, including scanning documents, updating records, and preparing patient files for the following day. 
  • Keep the lobby area clean, organized, and presentable to enhance the patient experience. 
  • Schedule Management: 
    • Manage patient flow throughout the day. 
    • Adapt to any unique needs or requests to accommodate patients and families, providing flexibility and understanding. 
  • Patient Education Support: 
    • Provide basic information to patients and families about the dental visit process, addressing questions about routine treatments and procedures. 
  • Problem Solving: 
    • Address and resolve any concerns or issues raised by patients, providing a positive resolution experience with empathy and professionalism.

Compensation Package: 

In addition to an hourly rate, we included the following benefits in our compensation package:

Qualifications: 


No Dental Experience? No problem!  

We provide on-the-job training for all the skills needed! This is a great entry level position to start in the dental field! 

  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.   
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.   
  • Proficiency in using or learning office software and scheduling systems.     
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to help others.
