A Pediatric Dentist Associate specializes in providing comprehensive 

dental care for children, from infancy through adolescence, focusing 

on preventive, restorative, and emergency treatments. They create a 

positive and comfortable experience for young patients while 

educating parents on maintaining good oral health habit.

Requirements

• DMD or DDS
• Completed education in an accredited pediatric residency program
• Residents are welcome to apply!

 DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school

• Completion of an accredited pediatric dentistry residency 

program

• Active state dental license and specialty license in Pediatric 

Dentistry (if applicable)

• Current BLS and PALS certification

• Experience and comfort working with children of all ages, 

including those with special healthcare needs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a 

compassionate, kid-focused demeanor

• Proficiency with pediatric dental technologies and digital 

charting systems

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, team-oriented practice
