ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care for pediatric patients, including regular check-ups, illness diagnosis, treatment, and management of ongoing health conditions.
- Perform physical exams, assessments, and medical histories of pediatric patients.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for a variety of pediatric conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab tests and imaging, to assess the health status of patients.
- Offer health education and guidance to parents and caregivers regarding child development, nutrition, immunizations, and preventive health measures.
- Participate in a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest medical practices, research, and pediatric guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and hospital protocols, including infection control and patient safety standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with hospital policy and regulatory standards.
- Provide emergency pediatric care when necessary, including stabilizing critically ill or injured children.
QualificationsQualifications and Requirements:
- Medical Degree (MD) from an accredited institution.
- Specialization in Pediatrics with relevant training and certification.
- Valid DOH (Department of Health) License to practice as a Pediatrician in Abu Dhabi.
- Proven experience as a Pediatrician, with a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in pediatric care.
- Strong clinical skills in diagnosing and treating pediatric patients.
- Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language proficiency is a plus).
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative medical environment.
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to pediatric care.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or on-call shifts if required.
