Reporting to the Director of Pharmacy, this position is responsible for providing and coordinating pharmaceutical care services and collaborative drug therapy management for patients. The Clinical Pharmacist will serve as a resource to the patients, physicians, pharmacists, nurses and other members of the health care team. The clinical pharmacist; 1) assures safe and effective medication use and; 2) demonstrates proficiency in delivering care to assigned age specific patient population (e.g., infants, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics); and 3) participates in related continuing education.
