About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join Rebound Rehabilitation, a well-established outpatient clinic in Orange Park and Fleming Island, Florida. In this role, you will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide high-quality patient care, helping individuals improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore functional movement.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will assist in delivering personalized treatment programs, perform therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey. Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises and functional movement training
• Perform manual therapy techniques under PT supervision
• Document patient progress accurately in medical records
• Educate patients on Home Exercise Programs (HEP)
• Monitor patient response and report progress to supervising PT
• Assist in measuring rehabilitation outcomes
• Supervise Physical Therapy Aides when required

Requirements:

• Associate Degree from an APTA-accredited PTA program – Required
• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License – Required
• Minimum 6 months experience in an outpatient setting (clinical rotations acceptable)
• Strong knowledge of patient care, rehabilitation techniques, and medical terminology

Preferred:

• Experience with Manual Therapy
• Knowledge of Trigger Point Therapy
• Experience in outpatient rehabilitation clinics

Schedule:

• Full-Time
• 40 hours per week
• Standard outpatient clinic hours
