Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) & Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP) – Inpatient Full-Time | Springfield, MO

Location: Springfield, Missouri (On-Site)

Job Type: Full-Time (W2 or 1099)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-C) and Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to join our inpatient behavioural health team in Springfield, Missouri. This role offers the opportunity to work in a structured inpatient setting with a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and a balanced 7-on/7-off schedule.

Compensation:

• Up-to $160,000 annually, based off experience (for APP role)

• Up-to $150,000 annually, based off experience (For FNP role)

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses (for Psych NPs)

• Responsible for doing the History and Physical (H+P) of the patient (for FNPs)

• Develop and implement treatment plans for inpatient populations

• Manage medications and monitor patient progress

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and interdisciplinary teams

• Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation

Qualifications:

• Active Missouri Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) license (required)

• Active Missouri Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license (required)

• Active DEA

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year of psychiatric or behavioural health experience (preferred)

• Ability to start within a reasonable time-frame

Schedule:

• 7 days on / 7 days off

• 182 days off annually

• On-site position
