Responsibilities:<\/b>
<\/p>

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments of elderly patients in nursing homes.
    <\/li>
  • Diagnose and develop individualized treatment plans based on the patient's mental health needs.
    <\/li>
  • Provide medication management and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
    <\/li>
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physicians, psychologists, and social workers, to ensure holistic patient care.
    <\/li>
  • Offer counseling and psychotherapy services to patients and their families.
    <\/li>
  • Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self -care strategies.
    <\/li>
  • Maintain accurate and up -to -date medical records in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
    <\/li>
  • Participate in clinical meetings, case conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
    <\/li><\/ul>

    Salary; Annual range of: $130,000.00 - $170,000.00 negotiable
    <\/p>

    RVU: Compensation follows a structured RVU (Relative Value Unit) model designed to recognize clinical productivity, quality of care, and professional excellence.

                  Requirements<\/h3>
                  • Valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York with specialization in Psychiatry (PMHNP).
                    <\/li>
                  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage a caseload of patients.
                    <\/li>
                  • Strong diagnostic skills and knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities.
                    <\/li>
                  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
                    <\/li>
                  • Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer skills.
                    <\/li>
                  • Compassionate, patient -centered approach to care.
                    <\/li><\/ul>
