We are seeking a compassionate, skilled psychiatrist to engage in a 60-month contract.
Position Overview
We are looking for a board-certified psychiatrist to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with mental health conditions. The ideal candidate will work closely with other health care professionals and support staff to develop holistic treatment plans for diverse patient needs.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Diagnose mental health disorders using DSM-5 criteria
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment approaches as needed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
- Maintain accurate, detailed medical records
- Provide crisis intervention when necessary
- Stay current with developments in psychiatric medicine
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
- Board certification in psychiatry
- Current state medical license
- DEA registration
- Experience in outpatient psychiatric care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to evidence-based practice
