Registered Nurse

Position Title: Registered Nurse
Location: Bedford Hills NY 10507
Duration: 2 Years
Work Schedule: 6AM-2PM (40 Hours a week)

Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Medical and mental health history taking, initial/ongoing physical and mental status examination, assessment, suicide screening and observation upon arrival to the facility to identify patients' health needs and form a baseline data.
• Facilitates therapeutic communication and establish individualized Nursing care plan.
• Carry out independent and interdependent nursing interventions
• Administering prescribed medications and monitoring for any adverse effect.
• Set up and maintain I.V line. Continuous pain assessment and management.
• Patient education to create awareness and insight of health status.
• Assist with referrals, transfers and interdisciplinary collaboration to meet patients' personal, physical.

Required:

• RN license for the state of NY
• AHA BLS
