HCIC Medical Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced radiologist for a fully remote position supporting a hospital Near Buffalo, New York. This role is an excellent fit for physicians who value autonomy, stability, and the flexibility of working from anywhere in the United States while still being connected to a high-quality hospital environment.

The radiologist selected for this position will serve as a dedicated reader for one hospital, providing accurate and timely diagnostic interpretations, including fluoroscopic GI studies. The facility maintains fast turnaround standards for both emergency and outpatient imaging, so this position requires a physician who is dependable, efficient, and committed to high-quality work.

Candidates must hold or be eligible for a New York medical license. The client assists in the licensure process for those who need it.

This is a full-time Monday through Friday schedule, with occasional weekend coverage (up to 12 per year), completed remotely. The Monday following each weekend worked is provided as a day off.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform general diagnostic radiology interpretations and incorporate subspecialty expertise when appropriate.
  • Interpret fluoroscopic GI studies remotely.
  • Support one of the busiest emergency departments in the hospital system, known for fast turnaround times.
  • Maintain quick outpatient turnaround times, typically within one day.
  • Produce clear, accurate, and timely diagnostic reports.
  • Collaborate remotely with technologists, referring providers, and a small group of radiologists.
  • Maintain strong communication and uphold high clinical and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
  • Completed residency in Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible by the American Board of Radiology.
  • Active New York medical license or eligibility to obtain one (licensing support provided).
  • Experience performing fluoroscopic GI procedures.
  • Preferred experience in Neuro or MSK; ability to read at least two of the following is strongly valued:
    • Prostate MRI
    • PET-MR
    • Second or third trimester OB ultrasound or MRI
  • Ability to manage a daily workload of 60–80 wRVUs.
  • Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment
