Our client, a top hospital, is seeking a Renal Nurse Supervisor to support its outpatient dialysis clinics.
Position Summary:
The Renal Nurse Supervisor will assist the Nurse Manager and Director of Renal Services in the development, implementation, and daily management of outpatient dialysis operations. This role provides clinical leadership, oversees staffing plans, fosters team collaboration, and ensures adherence to clinical policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include supervising day-to-day operations, supporting staff development and performance, conducting annual evaluations in accordance with hospital policy, and ensuring adequate resources for high-quality patient care. The supervisor also oversees the orientation and onboarding of new staff and may provide direct patient care as needed to maintain clinical expertise.
Minimum Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a dialysis RN
Recent experience in dialysis care (must be current)
Proven leadership in a dialysis unit (Facility Administrator, Nurse Manager, Clinical Manager, etc.)
Active Vermont RN license or willingness to obtain
People management experience, including recruiting, hiring, training, team building, and performance management
