Role Overview
The Sales Executive – Physician Practices is responsible for driving new business growth nationwide across physician practices, Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), and hospital-affiliated groups. This individual contributor role owns the full sales cycle from prospecting through close, focusing on building long-term, ROI-driven partnerships.
The role involves engaging with physicians, administrators, and executive leadership, positioning Clinicus as a strategic partner in care transformation.
Key Responsibilities
· Achieve or exceed quarterly and annual revenue targets, driving net revenue growth
· Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution
· Conduct in-person and virtual meetings with prospective clients
· Build trusted relationships with physicians and practice administrators
· Maintain accurate pipeline tracking, forecasting, and CRM documentation
· Represent the organization at national conferences, industry events, and client meetings
Training & Enablement
· Participate in a 2–3 week structured onboarding and training program, including:
o Clinicus solutions and value proposition
o Healthcare buyer personas and workflows
o Fee-for-Service and Value-Based Care selling strategies
o Sales processes, CRM tools, and go-to-market approach
Travel Expectations
· National travel required (30–50%), including:
o Onsite engagement with high-value clients
o Attendance and representation at industry conferences and events
Qualifications
· 2–5 years of experience selling solutions (preferably software) into ambulatory markets, physician practices (3–50 providers), FQHCs, or specialty clinics/hospitals
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
· High energy, self-motivated, and results-driven mindset
· Ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle
Preferred Skills
· Experience selling healthcare technology or SaaS solutions
· Familiarity with Value-Based Care and Fee-for-Service models
· Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
· Experience engaging with healthcare executives and decision-makers
· Strong CRM and pipeline management skills
