Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Supervising Pharmacist to join our team! Vanguard Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Supervising Pharmacist to lead our team and help grow our independent pharmacy. We are looking for a motivated professional with strong leadership skills and an entrepreneurial mindset. Pay Rate
$60- 65 / Hourly based on experience
Bi-weekly Pay Period
Schedule
Monday-Friday 10am- 6pm
40-hour work week
Weekends Off
Responsibilities
- Read and review incoming prescriptions for accuracy, suitability to patient, and potential interactions
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure compliance with regulations
- Provide exceptional patient care and medication counseling
- Collaborate with management to develop and implement growth strategies
- Lead and mentor staff to maintain high standards of service
- Provide information to patients on side effects, dosage, specific storage needs, and interactions with other medications
- Maintain excellent patient records and pharmacy files
- Conduct regular inventory and maintain proper standards for accepting new inventory and categorizing it appropriately
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
Qualifications
- Must hold a current state pharmacist license
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- The ability to multitask and shift priorities, as needed
Compensation: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
