• 12-hour shifts 7 am - 7 pm days and 7 pm - 7 am nights
• 16 patients per shift with 6 admissions
• CVICU setting 95% surgical patients, 5% medical patients
• Coverage needed approximately 2 weeks per month
• Must perform intubations and respond to code situations
• Manages ventilation, central lines, arterial lines, and PA catheters
• ICP monitoring and dialysis catheter placement required
• Long-term ongoing coverage opportunity
