This facility is a Level 3 Trauma Center offering comprehensive medical services to the community. The hospital provides a wide range of surgical services including complex vascular, neurosurgery, orthopedics, obstetrics, and pediatric care. Opportunity: Anesthesiology
This is a locum tenens opportunity for anesthesiologists to join a dedicated team. The facility is seeking two providers who are board certified or board eligible in anesthesiology. This position requires versatility in handling various surgical cases including neurological, complex orthopedic, OB, and pediatric procedures.

Job Details:

• Locum tenens assignment starting November 1, 2025 with ongoing need
• Primarily seeking providers willing to cover nights and weekends in addition to day shifts
• New providers will start with day shifts for a few weeks before transitioning to night coverage
• Shift durations vary from 8-12 hours on weekdays
• Weekend shifts include 12-hour day shifts and 24-hour call coverage
• Required skills include general anesthesia for adults and pediatrics, spinal and epidural anesthesia, regional anesthesia, and trauma care
• Experience with obstetrical cases, neurosurgical procedures, thoracic cases, and complex orthopedic cases
• Must be comfortable with central and arterial line placement
• Active California license is mandatory for consideration
• Guaranteed 8 hours per shift with overtime available after 12 hours (pre-approval required)
