Deborah Heart and Lung Center, a nationally recognized quaternary care heart and vascular specialty hospital, is seeking a talented physician to further develop its growing advanced heart failure program.

Position Overview:

  • Attending Physician - Advanced Heart Failure will oversee current clinical activities and develop new opportunities for advanced care and growth within the program.
  • The position will balance practice opportunities on the inpatient advanced heart failure service, including ICU coverage, ambulatory heart failure clinics on site and in key strategic outreach clinics and direct participation in our VAD, ECMO and Cardiogenic Shock Programs.  
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary, team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop new opportunities for advanced heart disease care and program growth.
  • A dedication to fellowship education and research are core expectations of the entire Department faculty.
  • Interest or background in clinical research is desirable.

Qualifications:

  • Candidate will have completed training in Cardiovascular Medicine and Advanced Heart Failure in ACGME accredited programs. 
  • Board certification in cardiology and advanced CHF.

The minimum starting salary for this position is $450,000.00

When determining a team members base rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., years of recent relevant experience, education, credentials, and internal equity).
