• 24-hour call shifts (7am - 7am) with 5 - 8 shifts per month
• 5 - 10 general surgery consults per day
• Non-trauma receiving facility focusing on acute care surgery
• Average callback hours: weekday 10.3, weekend 10.9
• Procedures include appendectomies, cholecystectomy, and hernia repair
• Cases primarily include GI concerns and gallbladder issues
• Community hospital setting
• 24/7 emergency department with 200 - 250 daily visits
• Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
• Assignment details and time entry in online portal
