Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Interventional Cardiology Opening in Downtown Nashville, TN-Full Time & Permanent Position.Key Responsibilities:-Perform diagnostic and therapeutic interventional cardiology procedures, including coronary angiograms, percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI), and other catheter-based procedures.-Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals, to ensure comprehensive patient care.-Evaluate patients with coronary artery disease, myocardial infarction, and other cardiovascular conditions, providing appropriate interventional treatments.-Interpret diagnostic tests, such as EKGs, stress tests, and echocardiograms, to formulate treatment plans.-Participate in the on-call rotation for emergency interventional cardiology services, including management of ST-elevation myocardial infarctions (STEMI).-Provide pre-procedural and post-procedural patient care and consultation.-Educate patients and their families on cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment options, and post-procedure recovery.-Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and stay current with the latest advancements in interventional cardiology.Preferred Qualifications:-Experience in structural heart disease interventions (e.g., TAVR, MitraClip) is a plus.-Active involvement in clinical research or teaching.Work Environment:-Few years away from having structural procedures-Hospital-based practice with state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization laboratories.-Collaborative and supportive team of cardiologists, surgeons, and healthcare professionals.-Opportunities for professional growth, continuing education, and participation in research initiatives.Benefits:-Competitive salary and benefits package.-Health, dental, and vision insurance.-Metro Health Incentive Program - Access to high quality healthcare without incurring out-of-pocket expenses.-Paid time off and continuing education opportunities.-12 paid holidays.-Supportive and collaborative work environment.
