An opportunity for a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist is now available for an ongoing locums assignment in New Mexico. This role offers a predictable schedule, allowing for a fantastic work-life balance and long-term supplemental income.

Highlights

Practice Setting

• Inpatient coverage at a 206-bed hospital.
• Adult patient population.
• Dedicated support from 2 RNs.

Schedule

• Consistent 24-hour call coverage.
• Schedule includes just 1 weekend plus sporadic weekly shifts.
• 20-minute response time required when on call.

Procedures and Cases

• Handle cases including structural heart disease, cardiac arrest, and CHF.
• Perform routine procedures like angioplasty, cardiac cath with stents, and TAVR.

Requirements

• Board Certified in Interventional Cardiology.
• Must hold an active New Mexico medical license.
• Requires ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum 24 months of relevant experience.

Credentialing Requirements

• Credentialing takes approximately 60 days to complete.
• Our team provides full credentialing support.
