Position Overview
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Cardiologist to join our growing practice. This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic, patient-centered setting with access to cutting-edge technology, experienced colleagues, and a newly designed specialty campus.
Key Responsibilities
Cardiologist (Outpatient & Inpatient)
- Provide comprehensive cardiology services in both outpatient clinic and inpatient hospital settings.
- Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiovascular conditions including hypertension, coronary artery disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and valvular heart diseases.
- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, and Holter monitoring.
- Conduct pre-operative cardiac risk evaluations and provide perioperative cardiac care.
- Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, and hospitalists to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform hospital rounds and manage inpatient consultations and follow-ups.
- Document patient encounters clearly and accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR) system in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and families on cardiovascular disease prevention, treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and medication management.
- Stay current with developments in cardiology and participate in continuing medical education (CME) activities.
- Support practice growth through community involvement and participation in outreach or educational programs, as needed.
- Adhere to all clinical protocols, regulatory compliance standards, and quality benchmarks.

- Competitive Base Salary: annually (negotiable based on experience)

Qualifications
- MD or DO with completion of an accredited Cardiology fellowship
- Board-certified or board-eligible in cardiovascular disease
- Valid Florida medical license (or eligibility to obtain one)
- Strong commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary teamwork
