Description:
  • We are seeking a Board-Certified General Cardiologist for locum call coverage in an inpatient setting.
  • Responsibilities include inpatient cardiology (non-invasive), ICU coverage, echocardiography, and TEE.
  • The role involves rounding and admissions, with 9 13 patients per shift and 2 5 admissions expected.
  • Department has 20 beds.
  • The facility is stroke certified.
  • Call details include in-house call with a 20-minute response time, 3 5 phone consults, patients seen, a 1:1 call ratio, 20% call back, and both inpatient and call responsibilities.
  • EMR system used is Epic.
Requirements:
  • Board Certification in Internal Medicine Cardiology
  • Active Idaho Medical License or IMLC eligibility
  • ACLS Certification
  • BLS Certification
