Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Locums - West Columbia, South Carolina, CRNA Job (Willing to License)

Clinical Role:
RecruitWell is seeking a CRNA for a 13-week locum assignment in West Columbia, SC.

• Start Date: September 8, 2025

• Contract Length: 13 weeks

• Schedule:

  • 40-hour work week

  • Preferred: 5x8s (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)

  • May consider 4x10s

  • Occasional assistance at nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center

• Support: Anesthesia techs

• Case Volume: Approx. 150 anesthetics/day (Main OR, ASCs, IR, Cath Lab, EP, OB, MRI, etc.)

• Patient Population: Adults 18+ to geriatric (limited pediatrics, travelers not involved in peds cases)

• Department:

  • 70 CRNAs + 15 anesthesiologists

  • Medical Direction Care Team model

  • Cases: General, GYN, ortho, urology, vascular

• Practice Setting: Hospital - Medical Center

• EMR: Epic (strongly preferred)

• Equipment: Glide scopes, Alaris IV pumps, Draeger anesthesia machines

• Skills Required: No blocks or regional skills needed

• Requirements:

  • NBCRNA certified

  • Active SC license (willing to license with compact)

  • DEA, ACLS, BLS, PALS

  • Minimum 3 years' experience

  • No local candidates (50-mile radius rule)

  • Credentialing: 60-90 days
