We are seeking a Locum Tenens Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) in Iowa.

Rate: $255/hr, travel can be billed separately
Shift: Monday - Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM (30 min unpaid lunch)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed
End Date: Ongoing

Position Details:
  • Patient Population: General Anesthesia
  • Setting: Hospital
  • Responsibilities: Must be comfortable working independently and handling all scopes of practice
  • Required Procedures:
    • General Anesthesia: Cardiac, Thoracic, Neurosurgical (Cranial & Spine), Pediatrics, Trauma, OB
    • Regional Anesthesia: Epidural, Spinal, Interscalene/Supraclavicular, Axillary, Femoral/Adductor Canal Block, Popliteal, Sciatic, Ankle, TAP Block
    • Anesthesia Skills: Central Line Placement, PA Catheter, Arterial Line Placement, TEE Placement, Ultrasound (Regional Blocks, Line Placement), Pain Management, Ventilation Management
  • EMR: Cerner
  • Call Requirements: Nights & weekends (shared rotation, minimal after-hours call, mostly OB cases)
Submission Requirements:
  • NBCRNA Certification Required
  • Active Iowa License Highly Preferred
  • Local Candidates Highly Preferred
  • Clean Malpractice/Background Highly Preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, CSR, DEA Required
  • Comfortable with all scopes of practice Required
  • Comfortable working independently Required
  • COVID-19 Vaccination Required
