Join a dynamic hospital-based anesthesiology team in Grand Rapids, MI, offering an opportunity for Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) to work in a collaborative care team model. This locum tenens position includes both 8-hour and 10-hour shifts starting as soon as possible, with an increased need for full-time coverage from December 2025 through March 2026 due to staff leaves. You'll be part of a group managing a variety of surgical procedures across multiple specialties.

Job Responsibilities
  • Provide anesthesia care across a wide range of surgical specialties, including orthopedics, GI, vascular, GYN, neuro, trauma, and pediatrics.
  • Use EMR systems such as Epic to document patient care.
  • Work as part of a medical direction care team, handling an average of 80-100 surgical cases per day.
Qualifications
  • NBCRNA certification required.
  • Active MI or Compact state license required.
  • BLS certification required.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required.
  • Local/Drive-In candidates preferred.
Working Hours
  • Shift lengths are 8 or 10 hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 5:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch.
Skills
  • Proficiency in a wide variety of anesthesia procedures, including comfortable handling of pediatric cases.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
