Coverage Needed:

  • 36-40 hours/week
  • 10- or 12-hour shifts

  • Weekend requirements as needed

Clinical Details:

  • Documentation System/EMR: EPIC
  • CRNA Supervision: Medical direction billing model with collaborative practice alongside physician anesthesiologists
  • Average Number of Surgical Cases Per Day: 100
  • Level 1 Trauma Center
  • Annual ER Volume: >60,000 visits/year
  • Number of Operating Rooms: 50
  • Patient Age Demographic: Full lifespan, with a dedicated pediatric CRNA specialty team
  • Required Procedures: General Surgical Cases (ADULT), Spinal Anesthesia, Neurosurgical Cases, Ventilation Management, Local Infiltration
  • CRNAs will NOT do open hearts, regional anesthesia, central lines, pediatric, thoracic, or OB cases

Requirements:

  • Board Certification - REQUIRED
  • ME State License - highly preferred; candidates needing to obtain license accepted
  • BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED (PALS is optional)
  • More than 1 year of Level 1 trauma center experience as a CRNA - REQUIRED (new grads not accepted)
