Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage Needed:

• September 8, 2025
• Job Duration: 13 weeks
• Preference for 5x8-hour shifts per week, but 4x10-hour shifts may be considered
• Shift: Day (8:00 - 17:00)
• Occasional assistance at the nearby Ambulatory Surgery Center

Clinical Details:

• EMR: Epic
• Support Staff: Anesthesia techs
• Procedures: General surgery, ortho, neuro spine, endo, cysto; no CV cath EP Lab, no surgery centers, no IR, no OB
• Skills: No need for spinal, blocks, art lines, central lines, or epidurals
• Patient Population: Ages 18 to geriatric; very limited pediatric cases
• Department: Large department with 70 CRNAs and 15 anesthesiologists under a Medical Direction Care Team model
• Special Equipment: Glidescopes, Alaris IV pumps, Draeger anesthesia machines

Requirements:

• Board Certification: NBCRNA
• Active SC License - compact accepted
• DEA
• ACLS required; BLS and PALS preferred
• Minimum Experience: 3 years
• COVID-19 Vaccine: Required, no exemptions
