Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)

Coverage Needed:

• ASAP - ongoing
• Schedule: Monday to Friday and weekends; approximately 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, with a 30-minute lunch
• Weekend and On Call Requirements
• Cover 3 sites
• 40 hours/week for 3-6 months
• Call: If needed it would be 1 weekend in 12 weeks

Clinical Details:

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based
• Mostly bread and butter cases
  • Heavy GI; no hearts, heads, or OB required
• Documentation System/EMR: Epic
• Average Number of Pain Management Cases: 4, with potential for more if GI
• Number of Operating Rooms: 26
• Patient Age Demographic: Healthy pediatric ENT only, mostly adults
• Procedures Required: General surgical cases for adults, ventilation management, full range of cases except hearts and OB; no regionals or central line placement
  • Must be able to do any case
  • Will not be required to do hearts, OB, or blocks,
  • Minimal to no peds

Requirements:

• Board Certified (AANA)
• SC Active license
• BLS/ACLS/PALS
• With training/experience
• Local Provider - Highly Preferred
• CDS Certification & DEA Registration
