Responsibilities:
- Anesthesia Administration - Proficient in administering general, regional, and local anesthesia, understanding the pharmacology and physiology of anesthetic agents.
- Patient Monitoring - Continuously monitor vital signs, adjust anesthesia levels, and respond to changes in patient status during procedures.
- Airway Management Managing and maintaining a patient's airway, including intubation and ventilation.
- Regional Anesthesia - Performing and managing regional anesthetic techniques like nerve blocks.
- Pain Management - Provide pain relief through various methods, including epidurals and nerve blocks.
- Emergency Response - Prepared to handle emergency situations, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other life-saving interventions.
- Medication Management - Experts in medication administration, dosage adjustments, and understanding potential drug interactions.
- Equipment Management Responsible for preparing and maintaining anesthesia equipment, including safety checks and troubleshooting.
- Procedural Skills - Perform tasks such as intravenous line placement, blood draws, and other procedures related to anesthesia.

- Detail-oriented in maintaining patient-related information and documenting patient progress
- Exceptional patient interaction demonstrates a friendly, approachable demeanor, effectively resolving customer complaints, and applies strong customer service principles to ensure a positive experience
Qualifications:
- Maintains necessary certification, licensure, hospital privileges
- Current CPR certification, ACLS, PALS, and BLS are required
Education and/or Experience
- Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP)
- Must be accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA)
- Pass the National Certification Examination (NCE) administered by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- State licensure in Indiana as a CRNA
