Cohen Children s Medical Center, the major pediatric teaching hospital of The Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell, is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Clinical Geneticist with additional certification and/or interest in Biochemical Genetics/Metabolic Disorders to join our team in the Division of Medical Genetics and Human Genomics.
Our team is comprised of Clinical and Biochemical Geneticists, Genetic Counselors, Genetic Counselor Assistants, Nurse Practitioners and Metabolic Nutritionists who provide inpatient and outpatient services primarily at Cohen Children s Medical Center and across Northwell Health. We are recognized by New York State as an Inherited Metabolic Disease Treatment Center. We offer numerous opportunities to contribute to the advancement of science through translational research, patient care, and teaching the next generation of genetics professionals.
The successful candidate will be either a clinician or physician scientist dedicated to a career in academic medicine. An academic appointment will be commensurate with credentials and experience.
