Responsibilities RESPONSIBILITIES
- 75% Clinical / 25% Academic
- Maintain ongoing certification and compliance with ACGME requirements
- Be a role model of professionalism
- Ensure the program s compliance with institutional policies and procedures and ACGME requirements
- Oversee and ensure the quality of didactic and clinical education, develop and review program curricula, and monitor fellow supervision at all participating sites.
- Work with other departments and other clinical sites to develop and maintain appropriate clinical and educational rotations for the fellows and residents
- Regularly assess and promote fellow well-being while fostering an environment in which diversity, equity, and inclusion are at the forefront of fellows clinical and academic experiences
- Develop opportunities for bidirectional communication with fellows and faculty
- Oversee and facilitate faculty and fellow evaluations and performance management with feedback

Qualifications MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- MD or DO degree and current certification in Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine or by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, or subspecialty qualifications that are acceptable to the Review Committee
