Critical Care/Trauma Physician Assistant

This position offers the chance to work closely with neuro-intensivists and advanced practice providers, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients in the neuro ICU and perform neurosurgical consults at night.
• Work independently while maintaining communication with two neuro-intensivists available by phone at night.
• Collaborate with three Advanced Practice Providers.
• Utilize EPIC for documentation and manage a patient census of approximately 10 in the Neuro ICU and up to 5 neurosurgical consults nightly.

Qualifications

• Board Certified (PA or CNP licensed in Ohio) - REQUIRED
• Ohio license - REQUIRED
• Clean background - REQUIRED
• BLS, ACLS - REQUIRED
• ENLS - Highly preferred
• Experience covering a neuro ICU in a Level 1 trauma center and working with stroke patients - REQUIRED
